1. Leather breathes and needs time to dry after being worn, so don't use the same pair of leather shoes everyday. alternate with other shoes. You shoes will last longer this way.
2. Leather can mildew, so if your shoes get wet in the rain, do this as soon as you get home: wipe off the excess water and let your shoes air-dry in a dry, well ventilated place. Don't store your shoes near a heat source because it may dry out and cause it to crack.
3. For NAPP or Shiny Leather: Polish you shoes regularly to keep the leather nourished. a little care will prevent your shoes from cracking and help it maintain its rich color and shine.
4. For NUBUCK and SUEDE: Brush it with nylon or brass brush and apply a thin coating of Nubuck dressing to maintain its rich color.
